The Council collaborates with the Mayor and operates through collegial resolutions.
The Executive Committee carries out all acts falling within the functions of the governing bodies, which are not reserved by law to the Council and which do not fall within the powers established by law or the bylaws. It collaborates with the Mayor in implementing the Council's general policies. It reports to the Council on its activities and carries out proposals and advocacy for the Council. It adopts regulations governing the organization of offices and services, in compliance with the general criteria established by the Council.
