Imperia Vintage Sails 2026

From 28 August to 6 September 2026 Imperia will host Sailing Week 2026 , with the Vintage Sails regattas, the 12 Metre International Class, shows, music, events and initiatives open to the public.

Friday, August 28

6:30 PM – Welcome Ceremony for the 12-Meter International Class – Lounge Area

9.00pm – 11.30pm – DJ Set “Tech House all Night Long” – Stage Area

Saturday, August 29th

09:00 – 11:00 – Start of the 12 Mtr International Class races

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

9:30 PM – 11:30 PM – DJ Set Rossella Di Pierro featuring violinist Maryna – Stage Area

Sunday, August 30th

09:00 – 11:00 – Start of the 12 Mtr International Class races

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

9:30 PM – 11:30 PM – Musical entertainment – Quayside

Monday, August 31st

09:00 – 11:00 – Start of the 12 Mtr International Class races

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

9:30 PM – 11:30 PM – “VITA – Navigators of Emotions”, a show by the ISAH Foundation, followed by musical entertainment – Stage and Platform Area

Tuesday, September 1st

09:00 – 11:00 – Start of the 12 Mtr International Class races

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

6:30 PM – Opening Ceremony of the Imperia Vintage Sails with the Carabinieri Band and Flag-Raising Ceremony – Calata Anselmi

Following – Poste Italiane philatelic cancellation dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Vele d'Epoca – City of Imperia stand

9:30 PM – 11:30 PM – “Sails in Dance,” CSEN Dance Schools Gala – Stage and Platform Area

Wednesday, September 2nd

9:00 – 11:00 – Start of the Imperia Vintage Sails Regatta

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

6:00 PM – Interview with Mauro Pelaschier by journalist Fabio Pozzo – Stage and Platform Area

6:30 PM – “Basket and Beer” Basketball Tournament – Banchina

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Interview with Lucia Pozzo by Giacomo Baldassari: life at sea and Lilli II's solidarity route with AIRC

9.30pm – 11.30pm – Burlesque & Moulin Rouge Show – Stage Area and Platform

Thursday, September 3

9:00 – 11:00 – Start of the Imperia Vintage Sails Regatta

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

5:00 PM – Presentation of “130 Years of Cantieri Sangermani” – Stage Area

5:30 PM – Family Shows with Face Painting and Pirate Games – Banchina

6:30 PM – Sports Games: Tug of War – Quay

9:30 PM – Family Show “The Corsair’s Ship” – Stage and Dock Area

Friday, September 4th

9:00 – 11:00 – Start of the Imperia Vintage Sails Regatta

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

5:30 PM – The history of the sea told through the biographies of Cino Ricci, Simone Bianchetti, and Francesca Clapcich, interview by Giacomo Baldassari – Stage Area

9:30 PM – 1:30 AM – Disco Night “Sail Party” with DJ Prezioso, DJ Cerla and DJ Luca Testa – Stage and Dock Area

Saturday, September 5th

11:00 – Parade of Elegance – Porto Maurizio Long Pier Area

To follow – Start of the Imperia Vintage Sails Regatta

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Regatta participants return to the dock

6:00 PM – Award ceremony and closing ceremony of the Imperia Vintage Sails

10:45 PM – Fireworks and musical show

10:00 PM – 12:00 AM – “Cosimo & The Hot Coals” Musical Show – Stage Area

Sunday, September 6th

12:30 – 4:00 PM – Sailing Cooking Experience: “The Challenge of the Onboard Chefs of the Vintage Sails of Imperia” – Lounge Area
