Municipium
What is
A weekend of reflection, information, and discussion with leading figures in Italian journalism and communication.
Following the resounding success of previous editions, with every evening sold out, Incontri a Imperia returns for the third consecutive year. This event, conceived and curated free of charge by journalist Lucia Scajola and promoted by the City of Imperia, with the support of the Passadore Foundation and the Arimondo Group – Fudi Supermarkets, is back.
The event will take place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August at 9:30 pm on the Aicardi Quay, in the picturesque setting of Oneglia's port.
The first evening's speaker will be Paolo Mieli, journalist, writer, and historian, who will analyze the Italian and international political landscape, focusing on the summer's key issues and the outlook for next fall.
On Sunday, it will be the turn of Aldo Cazzullo, deputy editor of the Corriere della Sera, who will bring to the stage his story dedicated to Saint Francis, taken from the book Francesco, il primo italiano: a human and historical journey to discover one of the most important figures of our culture.
The 2026 edition will be dedicated to journalist Roberto Arditti, who passed away prematurely last April and was the protagonist of the first two editions of the festival.
